How long does hardwood refinishing take?

The process typically takes 1 to 2 weeks from start to finish depending on the area and the project.

What areas do you service?

We proudly serves the Greater Metro Quad City Area, including:
Iowa – Davenport, Eldridge, Bettendorf, Muscatine, Walcott, LeClaire, and Maysville
Illinois – Milan, Silvis, Moline, and Rock Island

Does it cause a lot of debris, odors, and clean up?

No dust in the air during this process, everything stays clean from walls to floors. We have twin motor high efficiency Hepa filtered dust collection specifically designed to keep your home clean during the process. Odors may last from 6-8 hours depending. After 8 hours you can walk on your floor again.

Can I stay in my home during the refinishing process?

Yes. You can stay in your home depending on your sensitivity and access to exit or utilize a bathroom. Personal preference on if you do or don’t.

How often should hardwood floors be refinished?

Recommended practice is to refinish them every 7-10 years. However, consult your professional as it always depends on wear and tear. Never attempt to DIY as this causes additional damage and cost to the project.
